Cool Stuff

Cool collection of informative videos on social networks, blogs, wikis and social bookmarking from the Pew Trust’s e-patients blog (via Matthew Holt). For the uninitiated, these clips explain all these tools in a clear, concise and entertaining way. Now I bet I can even get my parents to understand this stuff! (As well as some colleagues… :-) )

But to really bring this all to life, you have to see the lively video by Adriana (who I work with) showing the impact these tools can have when put into action.

Marc- these were helpful. Wikis in plain english was especially helpful for my team. I love these things- fun and informative. Thanks for pointing us to them…

My pleasure. Plain and simple is always best. It’s a shame so many people speak gobbledygook — often in an attempt to sound more knowledgeable.

BTW – if you haven’t already, it’s worth checking out the Plain English Campaign. http://www.plainenglish.co.uk.
